In 2012, Nikkie Plessen decided to make her dream come true and design a collection based on her personal style. NIKKIE is characterized by a feminine, sexy, and edgy style. The brand has grown into a major player in the international market.
Nikkie grew up in the Netherlands and has always been fascinated by the Dutch and international fashion industry. She started her career at a young age as an actress, appearing in various films/series and hosting daily shows for MTV Networks and RTL. Now, she shares her love and passion for fashion as a fashion expert on RTL Boulevard.
Kate Moss Clothing Line
Since 2016, Nikkie has been collaborating with model Kate Moss. The world-famous model curates her NIKKIE favorites each season through a sub-collection. This led to the first 'Selected by Kate Moss' collection in 2017. The collection reflects a tough yet feminine identity. It includes jackets, dresses, skirts, pants, and tops, and is available in all NIKKIE brand stores, major department stores, retail outlets, and online shops.
Nikkie carefully curates the collections, focusing on easy item combinations for day and night. She showcases these collections every year through grand fashion shows. And she goes all out! Nikkie has managed to secure locations such as the Concertgebouw, the Royal Theater Carré, and Disneyland Paris for her shows. In 2018, Nikkie and Kate Moss launched a new concept together; NIKKIE in Concert. A grand show where fashion and music come together. In 2018, it took place at AFAS Live and due to its success, the following year at the Ziggo Dome.
Children's Collection
The success of Nikkie expanded with a children's collection called NIK&NIK. She was inspired by her own daughter to design and produce a children's collection. In addition to this own clothing line, Nikkie also has a cosmetics line called N BEAUTY and the Modern Classic women's label FIFTH HOUSE. After these successes, a men's line was a natural addition, so Nikkie introduced SUSTAIN.
