The story of Atelier Rebul begins in 1895. A young Frenchman, Jean Cesar Reboul, a pharmacist, traveled through Istanbul on his way to Trabzon. He visited his father, who was working as an engineer to build the highway from Hopa to Trabzon. The beautiful city of Istanbul immediately captured his imagination. He found the perfect place, on Rue de Pera in Beyoğlu, to open one of Turkey's first pharmacies. The Grande Pharmacie Parisienne, also known as the Great Paris Pharmacy.
Since 1895, Atelier Rebul has been producing skincare and fragrance products. The knowledge they have gained over the years has been continuously passed down to the next generation. As a local pharmacy at the time, a unique bond was formed with the customers. For decades, the same families have been served. In 1939, Mr. Reboul decided to return to France, leaving his beloved pharmacy behind with his business partner, Kemal. Kemal changed the name to Rebul Pharmacy, as a tribute to the mentor who had given him so much.
