Memobottle was founded by Jesse Leeworthy and Jonathan Byrt and started as a creative initiative from Melbourne, Australia. Jesse and Jonathan grew up in a small coastal town south of Melbourne, where they witnessed firsthand how single-use plastic water bottles can devastate the oceans and the environment. This is a problem that occurs in multiple places in Australia. Therefore, Jesse and Jonathan founded Memobottle with the aim of making us reflect on how we as a society deal with water consumption and to convey information about all our modern conveniences that harm the environment.
