MUNICH was founded in 1939 by the Spanish Luis Berneda, then known as Berneda. He produced football shoes for F.C. Barcelona and the Santboiana rugby team. In 1948, the first low football shoes with aluminum spikes on the bottom were introduced. A few years later, the MUNICH indoor football shoes and handball shoes became extremely popular in Spain. In 1953, the company passed on to the second generation of the family. They added the well-known 'X' feature to the shoes and changed the name to Munich. Since then, MUNICH shoes have become indispensable!
