Portland
In 2006, KEEN moved from Alameda, California to Portland, Oregon, a city known for its bridges, bicycles, forests, and shoes. Portland provided the perfect backdrop for innovation and a pioneering culture. For the headquarters, where KEEN has been operating since 2012, the brand had ecological goals for the renovation of five floors spanning 60,000 square feet. By reusing almost all existing materials in the old building, the renovation was completed with just one waste container.
