Reliable shoes

In the 1850s, Blundstone's predecessors started supplying suitable shoes to the inhabitants of the young colony. In 1870, the Blundstone company was officially established, and that's when the first factory was opened. From the beginning, Blundstone boots were known as reliable shoes you could count on, no matter how hard you worked or what your life looked like. They were tested not only by city workers but also by farmers and factory workers. Because Blundstone wasn't satisfied with just taking care of workers' feet, they eventually started making baby slippers, school shoes for children, and ladies' boots.

Different lifestyles

Blundstone was commissioned to supply boots to the Australian army during World War II. Over 500,000 pairs of military-grade boots were made for Australian troops. After the war, they began designing new styles of boots, expanding their range to cater to changing industries and lifestyles. They produced boots for foundry workers, forestry workers, and even the Australian Football League. To top it all off, Blundstone boots were used by the first Australian Everest expedition team in the journey through the Himalayas to Mount Everest.
